Attorney Ron Hatfield’s law practice focuses on helping businesses “protect their futures…now.”  That is the motto that guides the Hatfield Legal Services approach to working with clients. Ron helps his clients in making the best legal and financial decisions during their lifetime, while ensuring the well being of their families into the future. Each plan is designed to meet the unique needs and goals of the client, while also preserving family traditions and beliefs. Having a financial, insurance, and real estate background, he has been able to help business owners with the myriad of legal and tax issues that arise, and design a plan to ensure that the business legacy survives long after the founder is gone. Additionally, his firm also counsels both businesses and individuals on how to shield their assets from judgments, creditors and divorces.

Ron’s practice includes family protection, wealth preservation, and family values based planning, as well as planning for unmarried couples, and divorced individuals. Ron even provides financial management education in an attempt to help his clients avoid filing bankruptcy, as a last resort.  Ron will help you make a plan to meet your goals today and protect your family tomorrow, no matter where you are in life.  “Protecting Your Future…Now!”

His practice includes helping families with young children, special needs families, business owners, unmarried couples and individuals with transitioning their financial and family wealth to their family. Through his patience and his ability to truly listen to client concerns, he is able to translate his client's vision into a plan that meets their desires and exceeds their expectations, developing lifelong relationships with his clients and their families.

After admission to the West Virginia Bar in 2007, Ron worked with two well-known small firms near Charleston, WV. While working for those firms, he gained valuable experience, but at the same time felt frustration with the typical law practice that seemed to thrive on the misery of the clients. This experience, along with his previous 12 year career serving clients in the real estate and insurance fields, formed a deep desire and vision to practice law with a different approach: building lifetime relationships with his clients
